[02] Such a machine is known for example from EP 0 564 433. Both tamping units provided for undercutting a track can be lowered together for a simultaneous clogging of two adjacent sleepers. If necessary, only one of the two tamping units can be used in the event of a track slip, in order to be able to support at least one single threshold in this special situation.
[03] The object of the present invention is now to provide a machine of the type mentioned, with which a further improvement in Stopfqualität can be achieved.
This object is achieved with a machine of the generic type in that the vibrations of the inner stuffing plug causing eccentricity in comparison to the vibrations of the outer stuffing plug causing eccentricity is designed differently.
[05] With these features, despite a different stuffing lever length, a uniform amplitude can be achieved in the area of the lower pickle ends of outer and inner stuffing picks. [08] A machine 1 shown in FIG. 1 has a tamping unit 2 for the purpose of clogging a track 3. In order to increase the efficiency of the machine 1, a satellite frame 5 arranged between chassis 4 is displaceable by a drive 6 relative to a machine frame 7. In a variant of the invention, instead of two independently height-adjustable unit frame 11, only a single, common unit frame can be used. Likewise, a tamping unit 2, shown in simplified form in FIG. 4, can be designed according to the invention with different eccentricities for the eccentric shaft 21 for the simultaneous underfilling of four adjacent sleepers 9. In each case, acting on inner tamping pickle 20 Beistellantriebe 15 are mounted on the smaller eccentricity, while the force acting on the outer tamping 19 outer Beistellantriebe 15 are mounted on the larger eccentricity.
